ErgoDesk® Systems - high performance working environments

Suveren Rørmøbelfabrikk AS (SR) was founded in 1947 and is based in Oslo, Norway. The primary market was furniture’s for outdoor environments made from steel in combination with wood. In the early 80s SR developed, produced and brought to market a portfolio of products for the new computer based office. This consisted of different models in a standard range. In addition a large client group was architects and engineers with a demand for the SR DAK drawing tables. Moving on from the DAK tables, SR developed custom made furniture for different industries.

In 1995 SR was the largest producer of electrical tables in the Scandinavian market with customers such as Kinnarps, Hov Dokka and others. The brand name ErgoDesk was born. As the market for electrical adjustable tables maintained strong in the late 90s, many of our customers developed their own product portfolio.

SR took the decision not to compete in the regular office furniture market, but developed a portfolio of products targeting working environments with multiple monitors, operations 24/7 and unique technical requirements. 

Today we have more than 20 years of experience of developing advanced technical working environment with integrated technical solutions. We present it to the market under the familyname ErgoDesk Systems. Our products are designed in close co-operation with customers in the various segments in order to assure the best total functionality according to their unique requirements.
